In 2020, when OnRising/Velv expanded its Lisbon office, DataRoad - IT Services and Consulting doubled its network infrastructure from 48 to 96 certified points and installed a corporate wireless network throughout the space. The work was carried out without interrupting service to the consulting teams. The relationship did not stop there: DataRoad later took over IT Unlimited for 90 workstations and, subsequently, for around 200 workstations.

From project to ongoing management
The OnRising pattern repeats itself with many clients: it starts with an infrastructure project and evolves into a managed services contract. With IT Unlimited, DataRoad became responsible for keeping OnRising/Velv’s systems running, secure and up to date, with monitoring, alerting, remote and on-site support, availability reporting and full management. 24/7 monitoring is reserved for the Premium 365 plan.
The contract began with 90 workstations and was extended to around 200, including firewall, wireless network, servers and connectivity.
