When Boost Portugal moved to a larger office in 2017, it called on DataRoad - IT Services and Consulting again, having already had DataRoad implement the network in its previous space. The challenge was to grow without switching anything off: connect the old office to the new one, extend the network to a third space via a wireless bridge and interconnect two racks. The project included CAT6 structured cabling, business Wi-Fi, a firewall, a NAS server, a UPS and an IP PBX phone system.

Founded in 2008, Boost Portugal combines tourism and leisure activities, alternative means of transport and technology solutions. The group operates in Portugal, Spain and the USA, has 12 tourism and leisure brands and reaches more than 600,000 people around the world every year. For a company moving at this pace, its IT infrastructure keeps up with every stage of growth.

DataRoad’s networking and consultancy team began with a detailed survey of requirements and then delivered the complete project.

The result
Boost Portugal now has a modern, organised and scalable network, in which the old office, the new one and the additional space work as a single infrastructure. The relationship has continued: today, the contract with DataRoad includes remote monitoring, internet redundancy and IT Unlimited support.
