The work began with a diagnosis of the existing network. From there, DataRoad’s networking team designed a stable, secure business network ready to grow — and replaced the previous one entirely.

Each component solves a different problem. Wi-Fi 6 handles more simultaneous devices with stable performance, which matters in an office where laptops, phones and demo equipment share the same network.

PoE switches power the access points through the network cable itself, with no extra sockets, and Layer 3 makes it possible to route and segment traffic between VLANs within the local network. The firewall closes the perimeter and controls what comes in and goes out.

With monitoring and alerting on top, the network warns when something goes wrong — instead of the user being the one to find out. It is this combination that makes a business network stable, secure and ready to grow.
