The hotel is next to the Universidade Autónoma and the Santa Marta Hospital, a five-minute walk from Avenida da Liberdade and Marquês de Pombal — one of Lisbon's most sought-after areas for tourists and business travellers.

The hotel's internal network is separated from the guest network. This protects the reception, payment and booking systems and keeps the service stable even when the hotel is full.

The entire infrastructure is managed from a central controller, with continuous monitoring, fault detection and management of wireless access. The combination of racks on every floor, PoE switches and a dual internet connection gives operations the high availability that a hotel running around the clock requires.

In addition to the installation, easyHotel contracted DataRoad to maintain the infrastructure under the IT Unlimited service, with coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year — the level that today corresponds to the Premium 365 plan. It includes ongoing technical support, remote and on-site assistance and immediate incident response, so that hotel operations never stop.
