Ares Capital is known for investing in and regenerating real estate assets in Portugal. It acquired Évora Shopping (later Évora Plaza) from Novo Banco, resuming construction with the intention of completing the project, and is also associated with the purchase and refurbishment of Acqua Roma in Lisbon.
