In 2020, ETI Simulation & Engineering Solutions chose DataRoad to physically reorganise its servers and renew the network infrastructure of its office and datacentre. The project totalled around 7000 metres of CAT6 cable, around 128 certified Gigabit network points, three racks and a dedicated electrical panel, all carried out outside the company's working hours.

What was built
Cabling and network points
- New category 6 cabling Around 7000 metres of cable, with floor boxes replaced and network and power runs installed.
- 128 CAT6 Gigabit points Distributed across the office, with cables routed to the new rack area.
- Repositioning Network points relocated and new points installed.
- Certification All CAT6 Gigabit cabling certified.
Datacentre and racks
- Dedicated electrical panel For the datacentre area, with separation per rack.
- 42U racks Installed and terminated.
- Three interconnected racks Two for communications and one for servers.
Without stopping the company
The network and electrical work was carried out outside ETI's normal hours, so the team could keep working without interruption. It was delivered by a certified team specialising in the installation and configuration of business networks.
